Hi, I’m Nicole! I’m a writer based in Calgary, AB, and I write romantic comedies because they’re also pretty much my favourite thing to read and watch.

I started out writing novels, but somewhere along the way I wanted to see what would happen if I turned them into screenplays. I recently finished the screenplay I Never Knew You, and now I’m working on adapting How to Fall in Love in Melbourne, a romantic comedy about friendship, starting over, figuring out where you belong, and, of course, falling in love.

This is where I share more about my writing, the stories I’m working on, and some of the books, movies and TV shows I’m loving along the way. I also claim to have seen every rom-com ever made, so I’m finally putting that claim to the test by making the list, ranking my favourites, and taking a closer look at what makes the best ones work.
