I read. I write.
I share things.
Nice to meet you.
Hello, I’m Nicole! I’m a writer based in Calgary, AB, creating stories that sit at the intersection of contemporary romance and women’s fiction, with the occasional dip into creative non-fiction. My work focuses on themes of identity, belonging, starting over, and the complicated beauty of the universal experiences of being a woman in this modern world—always with a thread of romance. I love blurring the lines between fiction and reality, often drawing from my own life to craft narratives that feel authentic yet firmly rooted in story.
I am currently working on a contemporary romance novel, HOW TO FALL IN LOVE IN MELBOURNE, and a romantic comedy screenplay, I NEVER KNEW YOU.
My writing journey has seen me published in the WonderShift – 40th Anniversary Anthology of the Alexandra Writers Centre for my short story titled “Becoming.” Additionally, I've co-authored two papers for the International Pipeline Conference (IPC) and contributed articles to the Young Women in Energy blog. I also wrote and self-published a children’s book titled When I Grow Up.
As a full-time writer, and a proud member of the Alexandra Writers Centre Society, I thrive on creativity and connection, soaking up inspiration from fellow wordsmiths and sharing my own literary adventure.
Thanks for stopping by!
